Baby Kittehs!

No, we didn't adopt any more kittens!

I was searching through my old wallet and file cabinets and drawers and anywhere else I could think of yesterday, looking for my social security card. I knew we had taken our cards out of our wallets years ago because we read something that said to put your card in a safe place rather than in your wallet just in case your wallet gets stolen. Well, I couldn't remember where that safe place was. Why was I looking for my social security card? Because I applied online for Michaels, Target and Walmart yesterday and realized that if some miracle happens and I actually get an interview and maybe even a job I would need that social security card to prove that I am indeed a legal citizen and yes, please hire me. After not finding it I went online again and printed up the form to take down to the social security office to get a replacement card. Then, when Keith came home he remembered where the safe place was and found my card for me. So, long story short, I am now legally able to work and didn't have to fight the traffic to get downtown to the social security office and then wait 6 weeks or so to get a new card. I could just see actually getting a job offer but, oops, no social security card so never mind.

Anyway, while searching for my card I found some envelopes of kitty pictures. Pictures that I had gotten printed up online to make a kitty scrapbook. A scrapbook that is only half finished because I got bored with it and decided that I really don't like scrapbooking.

But I did find baby pictures of the kids. And they were so cute when they were little bitty kitties. Not that they aren't still cute, but...

Buddy squishing Lucy.

And squishing her some more.

Itty bitty Mimi.

Bear was so funny with them when they were little, they thought that she was their mama and she thought so, too. They would snuggle with her and she would grab onto them and just lick lick lick them all over. I've noticed that they hardly ever go to her any more, but every once in a while they will see her and go curl up next to her and she will still lick lick lick them.

They were cute. Should have fed them coffee and cigarettes to stunt their growth. Kept 'em kitties instead of turning into cats.
