More on the Floor

We had a stove in the living room last weekend. To go along with the refrigerator that is still there in the corner.


Keith worked on the floor all afternoon on Saturday, then all evening, then I went to bed and woke up in the morning and he was still up and working on the floor. All night. And it still wasn't done. And he made himself sick from breathing in all the glue fumes all night. So he spent Sunday in bed.

If we ever ever ever get inspired to put in any new floors anywhere ever ever ever again, we are going to hire a professional. It sounds easy to put in a floor, at least the box of flooring makes it seem so, but this is a job best left to someone who does this for a living.


The first time Mimi curled up on the vacuum cleaner cord I thought it was just a fluke, but apparently vacuum cleaner cords are comfy because she did it again.
