I'm just wondering what the argument was about and why you would bring a gun and/or knife to a funeral. Just in case, I guess.
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Police say a man was shot and stabbed at Greenlawn Cemetery Thursday evening.On Thursday around 6:35 p.m., officers from the Bakersfield Police Department responded to Greenlawn Cemetery at 3700 River Boulevard for a shooting that just occurred in the area.Investigators said a disturbance happened among family members during a viewing at the cemetery.Police said Raymond Martinez Sr., 32, is suspected of shooting James Calderon one time, causing minor injury.Police said that a 15-year-old also stabbed Calderon one time, also causing a minor stab wound.Calderon was transported to a local hospital by private means for treatment for a minor single gunshot wound and was in stable condition.Martinez and the 15-year-old voluntarily turned themselves in to the Bakersfield Police Department.Martinez was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and the 15-year-old was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a dirk or dagger.
