The Most Exciting Part of Our Weekend

So far.
Was when this big dump truck backed into our driveway.
And started dumping.
And dumping some more.
And then left this big pile of expensive gravel on the driveway.

Why do we have a big pile of expensive gravel on our driveway? So that Keith can wheelbarrow loads of it to the back yard and dump it there.

He is working on planter boxes and paving stones to fill in our yes, hillbillies live here and our back yard is full of junk back yard. The gravel goes under the paving stones.

So, yesterday he spent all day hauling and working in the 105 degree heat fortified with many many coronas. (if he gets to drink beer while he's working he gets a lot more done). Why didn't he wait until the fall when the weather is cooler? Because when Keith gets a bug up his ass about something there is no waiting until fall when the weather is cooler. I just hope he finishes this before fall....but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Did we marry brothers? Oh wait, no we didn't. Mine sits in our stateroom with the air conditioning on all day.
For every 3 Coronas Keith drinks, fill an empty Corona bottle with Gatorade and give it to him. He won't even notice the difference.

You can buy the powdered gatorade in packets now so you can just fill up a bottle with water add the gatorade and tell him it's more beer.

I hope that this project does not take very long...say as long at the bathroom!!!! :)

Hmmmm, I hope you didn't leave the cars in the garage; otherwise he'll have to move that load quickly!!

Good luck with the backyard project - can't wait to see the finished pics.

My husband likes to buy end components to very large projects before even starting the project. And since he doesn't always finish projects, we have a lot of crap laying around.

My favorite purchase was a storage unit and boxes for the storage unit in case we moved. We did not put 1 THING in the storage unit. We didn't even put a lock on it. The storage manager called us saying that we need to lock it up because people keep asking him about it. We had it for 6 months before we finally cancelled it. I hope this doesn't happen to you!
