And It Just Keeps on Getting Better

About a month ago Keith mentioned, and not without a little horror in his voice, that I have a bald spot on the back of my head. I can't see the back of my head no matter how hard he's trying to turn my head around in front of the mirror so that I can see it, so brilliancy strikes and I have him take a picture of it. Which I won't post here. Sure enough, there is a bald spot on the back of my head. I know some women get bald spots as they age (just another indignity of aging along with eventually having to keep Depends in your bathroom cupboard) so I wasn't real concerned, just kind of oh well what can I do about it anyway? I had noticed that more hair seemed to be falling out when I was brushing my hair but just wasn't too concerned about it.

Well the other night he was checking on it and says it's gotten even bigger, like the size of a baseball. Okay, starting to get alarmed now. What the hell is going on here? Why is my hair falling out? So, I made an appointment to go in and have the doctor look at it next week and tell me if it's a skin condition or just that I'll be needing to wear hats when I leave the house from now on. Or just shave my head and buy a wig.
I am wondering if the ringworm thing has anything to do with it, but Keith didn't see anything that looked like ringworm (gross!) on my head.

So let's see, facial hair, ringworm, snoring, and now baldness. What's next?

Well since your Dad was mostly bald its probably just old age. There is new womens rogaine that is supposed to help regrow hair.

Said a prayer for you that it's nothing serious! My sister started losing her hair and she had a thyroid problem and takes pills. It all grew back ;)
Blessings

I lose hair all the time - it's everywhere. Mine has always been a lot thicker than your's... but I hope there is nothing serious wrong! Call me.
