A sad abandoned cat story but one that will hopefully have a happy ending.
This link will take you to the story of Gimpy, and then if you click at the top of the blog there are updates on his progress. The cat was abandoned by his owners and someone had tied a rope around his leg which cut into his leg, and he may end up losing the leg. So, if you'd like to help out with Gimpy's ever mounting vet bills, you can donate a dollar or two right on the blog, or you can go to the Etsy shop and your purchase will go to Gimpy's care.
The shop is Waterwaif and she's got some cute jewelry and bobby pins at affordable prices. I like the colors of this set.

He reminds me of our neighbor's cat George, who will actually come to you when you call his name.
And, in other news, Keith checked the tire pressure on our new go kart and the reason why it was so slow going and kind of hard to ride is because THERE WAS NO AIR IN THE TIRES! They had 3 lbs of pressure in them instead of the 30 that they were supposed to have and what a difference air in the tires makes. It's so handy to have a husband who has an air compressor and knows these kinds of things.

He actually had to have his poor little leg amputated yesterday. I've got a couple recent updates on my blog but will try to update soon!
