Another Update

Well, Keith just left for Vegas. He had talked to his brother Bruce who said that it looked like thier mom wouldn't be dying any time soon and he didn't really need to come since both he and their other brother Brad were by her bedside at the hospital, but Keith said that if he didn't go and something happened and she did die he wouldn't be able to live with himself. So. Off he has gone.

Bruce said that the doctors don't know what caused it or if they will ever know for sure, but she had a massive seizure that would indeed have killed her if James hadn't been there to call 911. She has a life alert button thing that she wears around her neck but this came on so suddenly that there was no time for her to be hitting any life alert buttons. They are giving her some anti-seizure medication and she is mostly sleeping today, she did wake up this morning and recognized Bruce and said hello and that she had a splitting headache and then went back to sleep. So, who knows what will happen with her, the seizures apparently can be controlled with meds but not eliminated entirely unless they can figure out what the underlying cause is and fix that.

We'll just have to wait and see.
