Rain Rain Rain

Yes, it did indeed rain yesterday. Now, I know in most parts of the world rain is just not something you get all excited about, in fact in some places you wish it would just stop already, but here in the extremely parched water rationing will soon be the norm lets just plant cactus in the yard instead of grass part of California, rain is so unusual that it's the top story on the evening news. RAIN!! STORM WATCH!! LANDSLIDES!! FLOODING!!

Anyway, not only did it rain, but it really poured for a while there.


Keith's work even sent everybody home early because of possible lightning. Not a good thing to be outside in the rain welding on train cars if lightning is striking all around you. So, he got home early, scaring me half to death when I heard the front door opening unexpectedly. He took off his wet clothes and threw his long underwear onto the bed and about two seconds later cats were already laying on his clothes. What is it with cats having to lay on your clothes anyway?
