Pink ribbons on your product means that you are giving money to breast cancer research, right? Um, not necessarily, it just means that you've jumped on the bandwagon to the bank and are cashing in on a disease, similar to cashing in on Halloween or Mother's Day by making a product to fit the cause.
How about a little wind up toy to raise your awareness?

Or, you can file your nails with a pink ribbon emery board.

Use your hope on a rope soap while showering.

How about we just say F*ck awareness, find a cure?

Thank you very much! I was thinking about this exact same thing today as I was eating my pink ribbon covered yogurt... I think they need to put the amount they donate on the product - such as we donate 1 cent of this overpriced yogurt, or 50 cents or whatever. The first time I saw this stuff after Donna died, it made me cry in the store. Now I think it's overkill. I do like the t-shirt however... hmmmm maybe I will buy Mom one for Christmas, what do you think?
Love the t-shirt.
For some reason I don't think grandma will wear a shirt that implies the F--- word (to use simple humor from A Christmas Story), but I want one!! I totally agree enough with the awareness crap (we are all well aware of it) and find a damn cure already!
