Hey, Politicians

Didn't you all learn ANYTHING from Bill Clinton? Don't have an affair while you are in office, thinking about running for office, or married to someone in office, because you are GOING TO GET CAUGHT! And then you have to go on TV and blubber about how sorry you are, and how you didn't mean for it to happen, you just fell in love, and you're so sorry that you've betrayed all your constituents who trusted in you, not to mention your wife and children who have to see everything played out on national TV, and whatever...blah blah blah. You're only sorry because you got caught and you've just pretty much ruined your political career, not that you had the affair, because that was totally worth it, you just wish you HADN'T GOTTEN CAUGHT! And what really gets me is that these are grown men that behave this way. Grown middle aged men who should know better.

Well, at least someone other than Jon and Kate were top story last night.

What else is going on? Oh, it must be a boy cat thing because the girls don't do this, but Buddy has to rub his face on every single corner in the house every time he walks through it. Every door frame, every bend in the wall, every part of the house that isn't flat, he rubs his little cheeky scent glands to let everyone else know that he is king of the house or something. I need to get in the habit of looking around the house at Buddy face level, because after he rubs his face on the same corner of the wall for the four thousandth time, the wall gets kind of dirty there. Which I'd never really noticed before because you just kind of don't look at the wall corners that often and don't think about them needing to be cleaned that often, either.

And, our hallway is still not finished, but I really didn't expect it to be. Keith makes big plans to finish something during the week after work, but when he gets home he really doesn't get much done, not that I blame him. After being out in the hot sun for just a few minutes I don't want to do anything but lay around, and he's out there all day! But, I'm hoping that this weekend the hallway will be done. Crossing my fingers, here.

And, that's about it.
