Name That Bird

We have a lot of birds that fly around our neighborhood, eating seeds and bugs and whatever else birds do. We have the fat cooing doves that our cats really really want to go out and catch and will sit by the window and salivate over. Then we have the black birds that I'm assuming are crows, because their call is kind of raucous. We have the cute little brown sparrow type birds, and then the big mean but beautiful bluejays that chase off all the little sparrow types. But I've never seen this bird around here before.





Keith thinks that it is a pheasant. Or maybe it's a quail. Or maybe just a weird little chicken.
