It's finally here and I'm really not looking forward to the cold months. Yesterday was the first day of Keith wearing his long underwear to work and me thinking about turning on the heater. We are promised some rain, but I never believe the weather reports until I actually see some wet on the ground. Along with winter comes the famous inland valley killer fog. The fog gets so heavy here that each winter there are numerous 500 car pile ups on the interstate and the schools here have fog delays, where classes start a few hours later in the morning so that the kids can even find the school in the dense fog. I'm talking fog so thick you can't even see the house across the street.
I have nothing else to talk about. Nothing. We are somewhat boring people.

Sometimes it is good to not be able to see the house across the street.
