Um, no

Another etsy find. This goes with a hand crocheted or knitted or whatever it is mama doll that gives birth. Apparently the doll is intended to teach small children about how the baby gets out of mommy's tummy or something, but I'm sorry, I think most small children would just get totally creeped out.

This little baby doll comes complete with placenta and umbilical cord and it also doubles as Baby Jesus and can be used as a tree ornament. I wonder how many kids will ask if that round red thing is a balloon or ball for Baby Jesus to play with? I know I'd be telling the kids that yes, it's a balloon rather than having to explain what a placenta is.

Wouldn't this be cute as the topper for your birth themed Christmas tree? Add some red glass balls for placentas and red rope garland for umbilical cords and imagine how festive it all would look!

Shrinks use those to help women who have had tramatic deliveries - you know, kind of like those little dolls the shrinks use for sexually abused kids? Only this was like "OOOHHHHH then this came out and it HUUURRRT!!!"
