Woman Stabs Daughter For Not Helping Find House Keys
A 49 year old Delano woman stabbed her 24 year old daughter in the thigh on Wednesday because her daughter wouldn't help her find her house keys, deputies said. The mother and her daughter began arguing as the mother was leaving their house and couldn't find her keys. The daughter said she wouldn't help the mother look for the keys, they argued, and the mother grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her daughter, deputies said. The daughter was treated at Delano Regional Medical Center and released.
The mother has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
