Grocery Shopping and Charlie Sheen Night

Does this sound like fun or what? Our local ice hockey team is having a dress up like Charlie Sheen night and get into the game for just two and a half bucks. You just need to have a blond skank on each arm and a crazed look in your eye and your costume is perfect.

Keith volunteered to go to the grocery store by himself on Saturday. I had woken up with a headache and was very cranky so I let him go with a very detailed list and warnings not to spend too much money or buy too much junk. He did pretty well, getting only a few things not on the list and no huge packages of cookies or chips. He got some strange generic looking dressing in very huge bottles that I can tell just by looking at it that it will taste like the industrial dressing that you get at cheap restaurants. But other than that, a good job. And it only took him like two hours.

Today starts the 14 days to go until Keith's last day at Savage. He sat down with the bosses on Friday and gave his notice and they were very cool about it, wishing him well and wishing he wasn't going because he's been their cash cow lately and kind of holding the department. They had a heads up, though, because the verification company had already gotten in touch with them. We got copies of everything that was verified and the reports sent to BNSF in the mail and it was very thorough indeed. They even checked with Oxnard High School to make sure he really did graduate back in 1976.
