A Little Spring Cleaning and The Amazing Unfinished House Tour Part One

It is spring. My house does need cleaning. I actually cleaned the bedroom today, including moving the furniture to clean behind it-well, all except for the dressers because they're too heavy. Lots and lots of dust, and lots and lots of Bear hair under the bed because that is where she likes to hide. Wads of Bear hair.

Okay, it's time for part one of The Amazing Unfinished House Tour. Now, keep in mind that our house is very small, only 999 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. So, part one will be very short.
Please keep your hands and arms inside the bus, no flash photography, and please keep your voices down so as not to disturb the natives. And please don't feed the animals.

The Hallway:
We have paint, we have carpet, but we can't paint or carpet until the ceiling is fixed:

Almost two-yes two-years ago our air conditioner in the attic caught on fire and had to be replaced. In the middle of summer during a heat wave. This is Bakersfield, and in the summer it is usually at least 95 degrees out which makes the inside of your house at least 95 degrees if your air conditioner is not working. It was not a fun week waiting for the new air conditoner. I get very cranky when I get overheated.
The new air conditioner would not fit through the vent hole. A bigger hole had to be cut into the ceiling, and is still waiting to be replastered.
And this is the hallway floor, waiting for the carpet, which can't be installed until the walls are painted, which can't be painted until the ceiling is fixed. Sigh...
